—No screen time after a certain hour, read instead.
—melatonin
—no thinking about politics after a certain hour!
—physical activity can make you sleep later

My problem is not falling asleep. It is staying asleep. I am sleepy not long after dinner. No matter what time I go to bed, 3 or 4 hours later, I wake up and can’t get back to sleep. I normally sleep from approx. 9 or 10 in the evening to 1 or 1:30 a.m. I then take an hour’s nap sometime later in the day.
It’s that old “getting up in the night to pee” that is the fly in the ointment when it comes to sleep. Getting back to sleep is the issue.
A “good night’s sleep” is a good thing.
Gee, whouda thunk it?
