The Who in their early days were absolutely amazing. They used to set records: This is my local venue. The Who played at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on August 2, 1971, setting an attendance record of 33,000 people for a single performance at the venue.

The 1970 Isle of Wight show, maybe the greatest single performance in Rock and Roll History, I find it even better than the Live At Leeds versions.
