There were always a number of sanitary features that I felt were below a basic standard, but since almost all donors were completely healthy like me, I just decided to ignore the issues.
About ten years ago, when my Hard Left city proudly announced that gay men would be allowed to donate, I canceled my next appointment, and have never gone back.
I still get an email every month urging me to come back.

I didn’t think it had been 10 years since the policy change, but yeah, they changed it to 5 years since the last same sex hookup.
Of course, that wasn’t good enough for them so they pushed the political buttons until they got to donate without any requirements if they’ve been “monogamous” (never mind if their partner isn’t) for at least 3 months. In fact, EVERYONE is now held to the higher risk standard of homosexual men, meaning fewer people are eligible to donate.
This fact has been born out in that the Red Cross has reported critical shortages due to lack of donors for at least the past year. The fags didn’t save them.
