I hate to be a naysayer here, but from what I’m reading her experience is 20 years as a news anchor and 8 years as a loser of elections. She’s a good speaker, at least she reads well, so some sort of PR role or election investigator, I guess, would be ok. But what leadership role has she previously held?
>>>But what leadership role has she previously held?>>>
Yeah, I’m thinking the old formula, “experience in leadership” is dead. Look what that has got us all these years. What Trump is doing is what is needed. We don’t need leaders...we need changers. He’s not appointing peope to run things. Forget that......he’s appointing people to change, dismantle, and even eliminate things.
This is real change....
No. She was robbed twice now by the democrats at the state level, and - more importantly - by the core McCain-Romney repubbies at the AZ and Phoenix-Tuscon level.
That is where the corruption but competent grifting occurs.

You nailed it. She is an exceptionally lousy candidate. Winning a statewide election in AZ is an exercise in building coalitions. She was quite adept at subtracting rather than adding.
She began by telling the McCain faction of the AZ GOP to go to hell. That was a great applause line for her base but immediately alienated ~20% of the AZ electorate. During the 2024 GOP primary, she called her primary opponent (elected GOP sheriff Mark Lamb) a “coward”. That resulted in 14 other GOP sheriffs calling on her to apologize.
Many of the disgruntled AZ GOP voters were fine with voting for Trump but couldn’t stomach voting for Lake. Too bad, because AZ is now stuck with two loony Dems for the next 4-6 years. Remember, as recently as 2012 she was a supporter and contributor to Barack Obama.
It would be wonderful if this loser would just fade away once and for all.
