The question arises: was the hurricane geoengineered? One theory is that a geoengineered was an attempt to wipe out conservative mountain counties (Asheville and Buncombe County are very liberal but the rest have been 3:1 GOP for decades). North Carolina went for Trump by a bigger margin in 2024 than in 2020, and Georgia flipped to Trump in 2024, so that theory appears invalid.
