This 17 year old girl had been lying about her age, and had placed an ad on a website called "Seeking Arrangement", where girls try to hook up with Sugar Daddies. An elected official in the Florida panhandle, an acquaintance of Gaetz, hooked up with this girl and tried to pimp her out. Gaetz didn't play along, and there was an extortion plot against him.

And the guy who tried to pimp out the girl is currently in jail for stalking and trying to extort another political rival.

It's a crazy story, but none of it ever gets mentioned except the smear on Matt.
