Walt Disney thought America and American Culture was the greatest thing in the world. He set out to capture its essence, as he saw it, package it, and sell it to the world.

What he didn't anticipate was that American Culture would change, and fragment. He couldn't imagine that anyone would object to it, or try to destroy it. It never occurred to him.

Therefore his business model, his mission statement, was fundamentally flawed. We're seeing the consequences of his oversight today.

Walt Disney died too young at 66 years of age. His company then fell into the hands of those who slowly turned it into a vile company. I recently found our National Geographic channels on DirecTV are handled through a Disney subsidiary.
