BRUSSELS - Leaders of Europe’s far-right political parties are jubilant at Donald Trump’s electoral victory in the US.
They see Trump’s impending return to the White House as a good omen for right-wing European populists. And they are eager to use his electoral slogans and strategies in future European ballots.
Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban, an old Trump fan whose country currently holds the rotating EU presidency, hailed the US elections results as a monumental turning point.
“The world is going to change, and change in a quicker way than before,” Mr Orban proclaimed on Nov 9, after hosting a summit of European leaders.

How about reporting the news, not speculating about the future - in a headline, no less.
At least it is a step up from asking a question in the headline.
"Far right" == opposed to unlimited immigration. Might otherwise by left of center like Geert Wilders.
It used to mean militarists or monarchists. Those are not a factor.
And certainly nothing like American style "small government avoid entanglements" types.
Be interesting to find out who really wrote this - certainly no one in Singapore. Bottom line is that Europeans will keep doing this, and American Trump-haters will keep doing this, but at least in the US, taxpayers will no longer be financing them.

This shows one that all is not lost. Our elections affect the world. No one else’s election affects us to nearly the same degree.
The world needs the United States of America to be functioning at “all systems go”, though most of them don’t want to admit it.
