Inductive fallacy is what you are reaching for but that doesn’t fit and it begs the question of the Pizzagaters’ lack of credibility.

They spread the kids in the basement story. There is no basement. How did they get that wrong? The answer is real easy: they didn’t know even basic physical facts of the story that they were spreading.

There was another glaring problem with their story. Kids have names. Missing kids have names. The Pizzagaters never came up with even one name of any kid supposedly held captive at Comet Ping Pong.

Like all good conspiracy theories, it conveniently lacked any evidence that could be tested. Well, there was one testable claim: the basement, which turned out not to exist at all.

Funny how that worked out. Too bad that the NC guy who went there to free the kids didn’t know what a bunch of irresponsible buffoons he was listening to.

Inductive fallacy is what you are reaching for but that doesn’t fit and it begs the question of the Pizzagaters’ lack of credibility.

The information they have presented stands on it's own merits and does not rely on their credibility.

The people at Comet Pizza were engaging in bizarre communications which Occam's razor implies them to be strongly interested in child molestation.

The parts the Pizzageter's got wrong does not sweep away the information they presented which is correct.

They spread the kids in the basement story. There is no basement. How did they get that wrong? The answer is real easy: they didn’t know even basic physical facts of the story that they were spreading.

My recollection is that they had information about underground tunnels, but nothing in what I saw pinned the location at Comet Pizza. It may have been an assumption that turned out to be wrong. I recall seeing pictures of brick lined tunnels.

But none of this detracts from the fact that the behavior of the Comet Pizza people and their clients, is most easily explained by assuming an advocacy for sex grooming of children.

Did you look at that little bit of "art" I showed you? Is there a rational explanation for displaying such things in your place of business?

There was another glaring problem with their story. Kids have names. Missing kids have names. The Pizzagaters never came up with even one name of any kid supposedly held captive at Comet Ping Pong.

I don't consider that to be as significant as you do. My wife loves to watch all these grotesque murder mystery videos on Youtube, and there are numerous examples of serial killers getting away with killing people for years, and we often do not know the names of victims until after they are caught.

Here is an example. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Pickton If I recall correctly, he fed his victims to the pigs, and there was no trace left of them.

Like all good conspiracy theories, it conveniently lacked any evidence that could be tested.

The evidence that the patrons and staff at Comet Pizza kept sending signals that they were interested in very dark sexual stuff with children is unequivocal. The question is whether this rose to the level of a crime.

There is no proof of a crime, but there is certainly a lot of proof that what they advocated would be considered crimes if they acted on their predilections.

Well, there was one testable claim: the basement, which turned out not to exist at all.

It was this bit that was seized upon by the entire media-lie-system to proclaim the entire thing was bogus. I personally don't trust their judgement or integrity, and whether or not there is a basement in Comet Pizza, it does not address the peculiar behavior and statements by the patrons and the staff.

As with others, the media-liars either rejected, or refused to look at the statements made by the people surrounding Comet Pizza indicating they were very much into dark, kinky, criminal stuff.

Funny how that worked out. Too bad that the NC guy who went there to free the kids didn’t know what a bunch of irresponsible buffoons he was listening to.

The people here at Free Republic speculate about many things in the course of discussing various topics. People weigh the evidence and try to ascertain the most reasonable interpretation for what they can see. Often they are wrong.

There was information presented about underground rooms and tunnels. I saw it. The assumption was that it was located at Comet Pizza. So far as we have been told, this is incorrect.

Comet Pizza tells us they have no basement, and have never had a basement, so unless they've walled it up, then wherever they got the images of the tunnels and rooms, it was not from Comet Pizza.

The assumption was wrong. Doesn't change the fact of all the other weird and twisted behavior surrounding the people involved in this topic.

Podesta's emails and behavior are extremely peculiar on their own merits.

I discern from your lack of further response that you no longer wish to discuss this subject any further.

While I am disappointed, I can understand your reluctance to do so, but I had wished you would have answered that one question I asked you about the art work being displayed in Come Pizza.

Did you look at it?
