I drink my coffee black. I'm paying $20/pound for good water process decaf at Peets now. That's 453 grams. I use 22 grams in a large cup of coffee, so I get about 21 cups from that pound. It's surprising that a simple home-brew black coffee is $1 for a 12 ounce large cup of coffee. Still beats $4 to $5 at the coffee shops for a cup of black coffee. Zero calories, too.
I used a simple single-cup "Kalita Wave 185" ceramic cone brewer and Kalita filter papers with coffee ground in an Oxo conical burr grinder. The only time this is a challenge is when we have friends over.
