Yea man. I’ve been sick for a month! Started with some minor body aches and my hair hurt, like my nerve endings. Then after 2 weeks I feel congestion in my chest. Now I have that for 2 weeks. I’ve been doing my regular routine but I’m definitely sick. I would be worried but my daughter has it too. WTF?

I was sick for over 3 months with a very severe cough in Jan. to April 2023. I had dropped from an OPTIMUM blood Vitamin D level a year earlier to the INSUFFICIENT D level immediately before I got sick. ConservativeMind with his health ping list had just posted an article saying that having a BMI over 25 can cause your D to deposit in your fat, rather than circulate in your blood where it can do good. My BMI had risen to 27.5 from overeating “comfort foods” as I worried about 3 loved ones with cancer. After losing 30 lbs. I am down to BMI 23 and have not been sick since.

I think it is criminal that our govt. health agencies have not warned us of the importance of good Vitamin D levels. It is especially outrageous that such warnings have not been given when scientists know that dark skinned people absorb less D from sun through their skin. Most of us do not get enough D from sun in the winter. Especially in the south in summer people stay inside for the cool AC. I believe this explains the surge in late summer Covid and other viral illnesses. It was known early in the Covid epidemic that dark skinned people were dying at a higher rate than white skinned people.

As Trump’s health advocate, Kennedy should advise these agencies to immediately urge people to have their blood Vit. D levels tested if they are illness prone. People should also be advised to get their BMI levels below 25 by loosing weight with healthier eating habits. Refined carbs should be a VERY small part of a healthy diet.
