I recently heard that a president of a national medical group went to SF to plan for one of their upcoming member conferences. He left with the comment not coming. not now, not ever. Conference had 10K attendees usually.
I lived in the east bay and worked in SF from 79 to 90. Left when the state began looking for more money from its imprisoned. I had business there to tend to and made yearly visits till 98, each time noting there was a definite slide down. Went back in 16. Could not believe how far it had gone down the chute. Closest we get now to SF is on I 5 heading north or south.
Sad
Same experience.
Every time I go back it just keeps getting worse
