I have read that solar cells have become incredibly cheap.
The ‘poor’ Third Worlders are blessed with a golden level of sunshine that most white people will never get.
I’m all for getting rid of oil and going to alternative energy sources. However, before we do that, let’s look at the top 20 products which will have to be made differently:
Petroleum is a fossil fuel that is used to make thousands of products, including:
Plastics: Used in cars, houses, toys, computers, and clothing
Gasoline: A major use of petroleum
Diesel fuel: A major use of petroleum
Heating oil: A major use of petroleum
Asphalt: Used in road construction
Synthetic rubber: Used in tires
Paraffin wax: Used in cosmetics, chewing gum, and scented candles
Acrylic resin: Used in dentures
Poloxamer 407: A petroleum derivative used in toothpaste to help dissolve oil-based ingredients in water
Liquified petroleum gas (LPG): Used in dry shampoo to spray the cosmetic into dry hair
Petrochemicals: Used in the manufacturing of solar panels and solar cell parts
Nylon: Used in synthetic fibers for rugs
Fertilizer, pesticides, and herbicides: Made from petroleum
Detergents: Made from petroleum
Phonograph records: Made from petroleum
Photographic film: Made from petroleum
Furniture: Made from petroleum
Packaging materials: Made from petroleum
Surfboards: Made from petroleum
Granted, film and records are quite outdated, although still produced. When the left has a solution for replacing all of these products with ones not using petroleum, I’ll listen. Until then, it’s just another problem created by the left with no solution except to blame others.
