When hubby and I were first married, which was quite a long time ago, we would never eat out on the road. We couldn’t afford it.

We had a styrofoam cooler we’d put our comestibles and drink in.

But the lid didn’t fit quite right and the thing squeaked whenever our equally inexpensive car jounced.

Gosh, I haven’t thought of Squeaky in quite a while. That thing drove me nuts...

But, you know what, very good times! ๐Ÿ˜€

Now that I lost my dear wife Joy (loved her from 1973-2022) I often think of really simple things that were actually big to us because of the love. Places that weren’t listed on someone’s luxury tour around the Mediterranean or something but a source of happiness.

It was the love.
