The best vodka drink I have ever had was at a restaurant in Padua Italy: Dome Dove Doche. They put lime sherbet slurried in their vodka.

My favorite didn’t make the list, haven’t been able to find in U.S. Starka, A Russian vodka I drank throughout Russia so smooth.

A long time ago I was on a martini jag and asked an older close friend who was well traveled and with good money where the best martini was, thinking of something within the county or just across the border, I had overlooked that he was a just retired senior rear admiral and his long list of evaluations covered named bartenders in a number of countries, unfortunately none within the state, or even in the U.S.
