My wife and I have been to several cities in the US where we said, Gee, I’d like to live here, but upon further and realistic review we found out the truth about those places and decided the grass was NOT greener on the other side of the fence.
That’s the same thing we’ve found. The grass is green on the other side of the fence, but not greener.
They hired a “relocation specialist” but later said they couldn’t find a primary care physician......I’d be asking for a refund.
Does not matter much where you live, but how you live that makes for a happy life. If you are miserable, a change of scenery is not going to make you happy.
My bro in law retired, they sold their house and moved to Fla. two years ago. He regrets it and bought a house back here [Ct] Now they are here most the year and go back to Fla when the snow starts. I had been thinking of moving too but now I think I will stay.
One must always remember. When a vacation place feels perfect and you think you should live there, Part of your happiness is the fact that you are on vacation. Living there is different feeling once the new wears off.
