Groups like Turning Point USA focused on swing states to bring out voters this last election. I’m almost certain they will focus their attention at the midterms in congressional districts that need a few extra votes. Hispanic churches in the Southwest are being targeted for new voters.
Here’s hoping the GOP gets at least two more House seats tomorrow so it can be part of the weekend discussions. Oh dear, the MSM is going to be soiling themselves on their so-called news programs.

On the night of the Election, I recall seeing sign after sign that the GOP had captured the senate. It got to where I was thinking; ‘Yes! I already know that. You told me the same thing 4 hours ago!”
But during that long night, I heard very little about ‘the house’. I wonder if some reporters are like me, in that they may get one branch of our government mixed up with another branch. No one every wants to admit making such a 4th Grade level mistake, but believe me, it does happen. Most people never think about all three branches except at election times.
I will never forget it.

For a candidate that swept all swing states, how does the coattail effect not factor in to downstream ballots?

Cite Harry Reid’s nuclear options proposed bill as precedent and then do it. But I wouldn’t make it 15. I would make it 13. Then put on the bench Cruz, Levin, Turley and Piro.
The entertainment value alone is worth the price of admission.
If we take the House Rankin’s plan to refuse to certify Trump disappears. Although the victory was so large I don’t think they would have actually tried that.
