I know this will get pulled, but Ted Nugent is the Donald Trump of hard rock.

Uh, I hate to mention it, but there weren’t 15 good Nugent songs. Good guy, glad he’s with us politically, but he’s not on any playlist of mine, ever. Utter schlock rock.

Disagree. Love his stuff. Have all his albums and have seen him in concert many times. Great shows. Especially with Aerosmith on the ticket.

Hard to argue with Stranglehold at No.1. Ted is one of the few Rock Guitarists to play predominately a Hollow body Guitar.(Gibson Byrdland) Of course BB King did as a Bluesman with the similar ES-335.

Those pics of him, Kid Rock and Sarah Palin in the White House in 2016 were classic.

Any list without “Hibernation” is not remotely serious. He also did what I expect, is one of the more Energetic versions of “Maybelline”; and “Together” with Meatloaf. When the Nuge and the fellows had good production it was the best. Double Live Gonzo sounds like it was recorded in a shoebox. This one needs the national archives treatment, to bring full fidelity of screaming amplifiers.

“Light My Way” is a deeper cut of Mr. Nuge, I’ll have to compile my own ranked 15 of the Motor City Madman.

I’d put “Just What the Doctor Ordered” in the top 5 and “Turn It Up” in the top 15.

Look up the 1978 Texxas Jam. First one.

I was there. Even at my age I can remember everything. I was 18.

I remember the era. I didn’t go to Texas Jam but several of my friends did. I should have. It was only about a hour and a half or two hour drive away.
