NOTES ON 2024 ELECTION
I have followed politics since I was 5 years old and still have a vivid memory of watching President Kennedy’s inauguration speech at 5 1/2.
I have even worked on a few political campaigns, some presidential.
The 2024 campaign is one for the history books in many aspects. It marked one of the greatest political comebacks in modern Presidential history.
2024 marked probably one of the biggest generational shifts in politics since Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1932 election where during his time in office he built one the greatest Democrat political coalitions in elections history. The final remnants of which finally died on November 5th, 2024.
Trump becomes only the second person in presidential history to win a second non-consecutive term in office along with President Grover Cleveland.
Having lived through it, I thought Richard Nixon’s comeback in 1968 was the most amazing , until Trump on November 5th.
Trump engineered a comeback of epic proportions, not only winning the Electoral College but also winning the popular vote and making many places more competitive than previous election cycles.
Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate and campaigner. She never was vetted and tested in the primary campaigns. The DNC literally forced Robert Kennedy, Jr. out of the Democratic Primary in his challenge to President Biden. It is possible had Kennedy been left alone he just might have given Biden a good run for the nomination. Instead he was driven out and went to a third party attempt.
All anyone had to do was look at Harris and her attempt to run in 2020. She dropped out before the first primary in Iowa because she had no polling and was tracking dead last. In fact she was only polling at about 1% in her home state of California.
So when Biden was literally forced out by the DNC leadership, he turned around, endorsed her, and gave her his delegates. Thereby forestalling an open convention where the Democrats could have chosen a new candidate. They were stuck with Harris and had to make do.
Harris never was able to articulate her vision and message to connect with the country. She was an extremely poor communicator who could not think on her feet, be spontaneous, or improvise.
She proved herself a disaster in interviews, even though most were softball and for many she had the questions and topics in advance.
She refused any kind of open ended interview format and never once did a full blown open press conference.
She over relied on the old Legacy Media, Main Stream Media and sympathetic cable news channels for exposure. She never embraced the New Media era of YouTube and Podcast formats that are more free form.
She was invited to go on the X Platform by Elon Musk and she refused, same with Joe Rogan and passed up the opportunity to reach 10’s of millions of potential voters.
In short Harris ran the same old boring, stale kind of campaign that no longer worked. She relied on the Media to promote and protect her and that Legacy Media is now absolutely Dead! Future candidates will have to learn how to master the New Media where anything goes.
Trump on the other hand continued to innovate and learn, building on the new way he did things in 2016. He quickly saw that Legacy Media was dead and New Media the way to go.
He made himself available to X, Joe Rogan, Tyrus and a host of other venues, Podcasts and YouTube where he collectively reached over 150 Million people. Leaving the old media bereft and struggling for relevancy in a new age that has passed them by.
He totally out campaigned Harris with the energy of someone 30 years younger and never faltered.
He was able to reach out to diverse people like Robert Kennedy, Jr., Tulsi Gabbard , Elon Musk, and even Amber Rose to come into the party, and they did so enthusiastically bringing millions with them.
He stayed on message and had a much more disciplined approach to campaigning than in the past and ignored Harris, the Democrats and their rhetoric very well.
He got away from the name calling and stayed on his message and vision for the country as opposed to Harris who, as her campaign imploded, fell back on denigrating Trump personally with idiotic comparisons.
Her losing is her own fault and the result of many bad decisions that are ultimately her responsibility and no one else’s.
Will the Democrats learn from the mistakes, I don’t know, my initial guess is no they won’t and will spend the next 4 years engaging in hatred of all things Trump, rather than looking for a new approach.

The brothers of America deserve a lot of credit for Trump’s victory.
We have entered a new era where the Mediacracy (rule by the Media) is dead. The old, dominant, Progressive Media can no longer control the narrative.
The Obama cabal wanted to avoid two things. First they wanted to avoid any true primary races for their candidate, to avoid open public debate about any policy differences between them - project “party unity”. But regardless of that they wanted Biden out. They had to engineer his departure timing so that new primaries were no longer possible, so they could just hand pick Kamala. They first got him to “hang in there” to secure that “no-primaries” time frame they needed, contrary to all kinds of chatter in the press saying otherwise. They convinced Biden to go along with it, and then everyone on the inside knew they’d coronate their hand picked choice, Harris, just as they did when they hand picked her for VP. She is and was as much an empty vessel as is the whole Obama cabal.
Maybe the folks that authorize and print the fake ballots believed the polls, and just didn’t print up quite enough fakes to do the job.
Obama was a puppet himself and the insiders wanted an Open Convention, she was never what they wanted.
My take, the Dems were doomed way back in 2020 when they ran a whole slew of losers in the primaries, were cornered by the Left and Bernie Sanders and were forced to push a a candidate already showing signs of dementia.
Trump was skating to an easy win, then covid, then mail out ballet fraud.
Then we elected a demented man who refused to admit his illness and thus refused to step aside, until it was too late AND once again they were boxed in by the Leftists forced to nominate Kamala, who had more baggage than an airport lost and found.
Not just the Black vote, but overwhelming Latino and Asian votes also.
You may have seen this but there was a county in Texas, mostly latino, that had not voted Republican since 1892 and this year overwhelmingly Republican (TRUMP).
Even the Muslim-Arab vote came out for Trump.
I’m a little PO’d at the lefties. They said the night of 5 November was going to be a big historical night for far lefties and Jamaica. Little did I know they were lying to us with that crap.

No. She was handpicked by them for VP for Biden. She’s exactly who they wanted; an even more empty vessel than Joe.
Let’s be honest and keep it real simple, it was the Peter Principle. She’s just too damned dumb.
Picking Walz to be her running mate.
The pick was an unmitigated disaster….he was of no use to her at all. If anything, he was a liability.
The only thing I would really add, is that this is now a golden moment for the Republicans. Great moments are borne from great opportunity and they have been given one.
BUT.....
If they don’t get to work, and let’s be honest, they probably will have 18-22 months to do anything of true significance. After that, the stalling will commence.
But they need to do an excellent job, because even though Trump won, the margins were very close in many places. And if the GOP doesn’t come through, with the mandate they’ve been given, those 7 swing states will flip back just as easily. They have to be guarded, swift and optimistic.
Or in 4 years, no matter how great a slate of young, energetic candidates we put up, it will all fall on deaf ears. And you just know that Legacy Media will be killing Trump 24/7 for 4 years. They will berate everything he does to the benefit of the Dems. It will be relentless.
So his record - THEIR record...has got to be so good, that it will be impossible to impeach. We will see.
Correct. Shapiro was the pick. But in the end they just wanted to toss the name of a Jew out there. They never really were willing to dance with one. But he may have won her PA.
True, that called into question her judgment of course, but my guess is he was the only one who take the spot, the rest did not want to be associated with her.

Why is no one discussing the most important question: How did Joe Biden get 10 million more votes than Obama, Hillary and Harris? He said he was empowered with the greatest vote fraud organization in history!
Is that vote fraud organization only accountable to President Biden?
I disagree. They didn’t want Kamala, but Joe forced their hand. They were worried the blacks would sit it out if they removed the black candidate. The irony was many blacks didn’t view Kamala as black. In addition, she unfairly put a lot of black men in jail for minor crimes. They plotted themselves into a ditch.
Yep, they need to get going right off the bat.
Just looking at the Dens’ last 6 months it was clear they couldn’t win.
Event after event was bad for them and positive for Trump.
