Former Democratic Senator turned MSNBC political analyst Claire McCaskill twice wiped away tears while reacting live on-air to Kamala Harris' concession speech Wednesday.
"I'm so proud," McCaskill said, her voice breaking, when asked for her thoughts by host Nicolle Wallace during Deadline: White House.
Composing herself, she continues: "I'm so proud of her. I don't think people realize how hard it is to get to where she was. As a woman, getting elected DA, it's not easy guys."
McCaskill, who represented Missouri from 2007 to 2019, outlined her admiration for Harris's political career and that the vice president had been left in the "most difficult situation in the world" after becoming the Democratic candidate after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race in July.

Claire is proud of the loser? How about the winner?
When the truth starts coming out about Kamala, all this praise of her will not age well.
Harris was made the candidate during the palace coup as well as the fall guy if she lost. One thing that hasn’t been said yet is why did the deep state sit this out? Along with the never Trumpers? Liz Cheney and Jeff Flake I think were the only ones who spoke up. Nothing from Ryan. And where was George Conway and his cabal of raving lunatics?
The Jamaicaho plagierized Trump’s “Fight, Fight, Fight” speech he gave after the Democrazy RATS tried to kill him up in Butler, PA.
Claire. When you’re boinking the mayor of San Francisco, you can get anywhere you want to go with very, very little difficulty. You’re an idiot.
Maybe it was gas.
They got a bonus of getting Walz off the deck to. He thought he was going to run for president in the future.
Is that like for being in your "safe space" and stuff?
Getting nasty Claire out of the senate was one of the best things Missouri has ever done. And, IMHO, it was cleaning up the voter rolls that did it.
How is this old hag on TV.
If you want to watch something hilarious, go watch Rick Wilson’s pre-election prediction speech.

Part of it:
“Trump’s going to lose. He’s gonna lose badly. He’s going to be he’s going to be wrecked. I don’t know what the Electoral College count is going to be at the end of this, but it’s going to get loud and it’s going to get hard for him. Their panic is extraordinary. Their events in Georgia and North Carolina are basically about as well attended as a Pokemon card trading convention and in Ass Crack, Alabama.””
Knowing how absolutely devastated he is now that the Lincoln Project’s grift is in tatters just make the liberal tears just that much sweeter.
I would be crying also after listening to that buffoon
We’re all so proud of her that we’re going to prop her up again in 2028...
McCaskill and Harris have one thing in common.
They both got into office by sleeping their way into power.
McCaskill got it when her husband died in office and Harris “worked with her head down” on Willie Brown.

I think that it is not only that. I think they are afraid that Trump and his justice department will prioritize their U.S. Attorneys to return to their goal of arresting those who abuse children. FBI agents complained they were pulled from investigations of sexual child abuse/trafficking rings to track down those at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Those 350,000 missing children are somewhere in our nation. And, I suspect they are being abused in a most dreadful and horrible manner.
Dan Bongino said that Rick Wilson smells so bad that it burned off the hairs in his nose that they never grew back. 😆
