Well, we all win on the Ravens pick.
I said Ravens over the Bengals in a close one... and one-point is as close as it can be. Do I actually know what I’m talking about with respect to the NFL? ,,,, Nah....
Refs gave the Ravens that game.
Don't know what game you were watching but the refs called 3 penalties for 23 yards on Cincy and 11 for 81 yards on the Ravens. Penalties moved the ball down the field in Cincy's last drive, not Burrows, assuring a Cincy win against the spread in my Pickem Group.
The Cincy loss straight up against the spread in regulation time was a coaching decision to go for a 2 point conversion after the final TD that the refs had nothing to with.

Defensive Holding and the hand hitting Burrow’s Face Mask?
Again. I Don't know what game you were watching but I took the Raven loss on point spread because of the penalties that were called during Cincy's final drive and that included a sequence of 4 penalties called on the Raven's during 4 successive plays.
The hand hitting Burrow's face mask had absolutely no effect on the game because a TD was scored on the drive anyway.
Don't know what defensive holding you are referring to but I'll assume it was on the failed 2 point conversion attempt and that was a play call by the coach that never should have been made. You kick the extra point for a tie that is settled in OT and avoid a loss on an all or nothing play because of a defensive hold that isn't called. WHY? Because a defensive hold that isn't called isn't a defensive hold.
To sum it up, I lost the game, Raven's -6.5, because of penalties the refs called that lead to the final TD with the Ravens up by 7. You lost the game (no point spread) not because of a ref non-call but because of a coach bonehead call. You always play for the OT when the clock is down to 37 seconds after you kick the extra point. An NFL coach shouldn't gamble with Football 101 percentages.
and the ravens will take it...
you get calls you lose calls... heck, a ref even tackled lamar for a loss once.
