While there are some Republican and centrist states on the list above, it is dominated by the most strongly leftist states includes the usual suspects like CA, IL and NY, not to mention DC, WA and OR and multiple New England states; by contrast most Republican states are in the 95%+ result at this point.

Since counting is done at the precinct level it really shouldn't matter whether there are 1000 or 10,000 precincts in a state; it ought to be easy enough for one person at the state level to tabulate all the results from each precinct as they come in with a spreadsheet, whether we are talking about California or Wyoming. This is just another data point indicating either incompetence or skullduggery on the part of the left.

More people in CA voted for Trump and they are trying to manipulate and defraud to prevent showing CA going red.

I saw elder abuse yesterday while voting too with a caretaker sitting an old woman at the machine and touching the screen for her without justifying to the woman her selection.

No, the people are not really the main problem.
It is the stupid mail in vote!
In AZ, they send you mail in ballots automatically (If you sign for it) every election. (Since the rolls are filled with fraud, you get bunch of ballots mailed to nonexistent people.)
But even ideally, people start sending the ballots in almost month in advance.
People, who do not trust US mail are dropping them at the voting places. You can do it, until the polls close!
Some people still vote the old fashioned way, and those votes are tabulated instantly by computer. By midnight, they are done with those!
Then comes the big deal - the envelopes are counted, sorted, the signatures have to be (more-less manually) checked, if there do not agree, there is a supervisor involved and then they call the people. (so called curing). People usually do not pick their phones nowadays!
Then the envelopes (which passed the curing) are opened and the ballots fed into tabulator. If the ballot has some problems and machine cannot read it properly, it goes to a board, which tries to interpret the voter intention.

All this takes enormous time! Since there are some deadlines, they actually end up discarding lot of “problematic” ballots, so many votes do not count at the end at all!

People like voting by the mail, since it is so convenient.
The politicos like it since they can cheat!

But, the counting is very long, tedious and prone to error or fraud!

It is my understanding, that most states above are using some variation of this system!

Especially CA, they count their ballots for month(s)!
