Time to think about the cabinet

Trump has won and thank God for that.

Kamala has been pushed to the wayside and will hopefully become as insignificant as she is.

Now, however, comes the cabinet.

“Time to think about the cabinet”

It’s only been hours now.

Respectfully, I’m taking time to CELEBRATE and let this sink in, first.

Prof. Victor Davis Hanson for, at least, an advisory position.

I will like to see Hung Cao in Trump administration. He ran a great, alas losing, campaign in Virginia.

And I think Lake would bust them right in the mouth when they got out of line with their pompous snits and gotcha questions.

Seriously, I would kick the main stream media out of the white house day one. When I needed to speak with them I would tell them we are having a press conference. These democrat party propagandist deserve no quarter or respect period.

Cabinet?

I kind of like the mahogany with beech and walnut inlay one.

Tip of the hat to Gilda Radner.

J D Vance should be given a cabinet position - whichever one Trump would find most suitable for him.

To misquote somebody, the VP position isn’t worth a bucket of warm p*ss, and Vance is too good to leave sitting on the sidelines.

Plus a cabinet position would make good use of his obvious talents, and would give him visibility and a track record that would likely come in handy in 2028.

RFK—Elon-Tulsi are the triumvirate, for you dudes who think about the Roman Empire at least once a day.

I’m sorry but DOJ needs a real lawyer with steel balls, fireproof skin, and who is demonstrably on the team.

This guy is going to be hard to find. Those last undecided Senate seats are CRITICAL to get to 54 or even 55, because Romney, Cornyn, and Thune are otherwise needed to confirm MAGA cabinet picks - and they just won’t.

If we were stuck at 50 I’m quite sure Romney would have switched.

Jonathan Turley might be a good fit for some place in justice.

“J D Vance should be given a cabinet position”

And I should have made it clear - if it’s constitutionally-allowed, I’d want Vance as *both* VP and Secretary of Whatever. I can’t see any reason why that shouldn’t fly, and it’s just the kind of outta-the-box move Trump excels at. Plus it would make the heads of liberals explode, and that’s always worth the price of admission.

“Richard Grenell - Secretary Of State”

Yep, one of Trump’s picks that was conservative, competent, and not interested in stabbing Trump in the back.

It is a no-brainer!
All cabinet members MUST be certified members of Free Republic...
The approval of all cabinet members must be discussed, voted, and controlled on FR...

Just saying...

“ Trump (and the country) would be better served by picking his cabinet from one of his rally crowds”

Most people like that would be completely overwhelmed by the permanent bureaucracy and would be unable to function. Unless you are talking about “cabinet” like Secretary of Transportation. The Secretaries of State, Defense, Treasury and the Attorney General are not going to be picked out of crowds at a Trump rally.

How many LGBT people will be in the cabinet?

None of those people will be in the cabinet.

Elon Musk is not going to walk away from all his business ventures, even if he was offered.

And Ron Paul is one of the few people in the Senate who doesn't always vote lockstep, he's more valuable there. Most likely Schumer will still be controlling the Senate.
