California propositions (Vanity)

Prop 32 raises minimum wage to $18 per hour...

Prop 33 is about rent control...

Prop 36 increases punishment for crimes...

Here is a guide to CA propositions...

https://savecalifornia.com/election-center.html

Newsom gave an interview, stating his opposition to Prop 36...He said that it is a bad idea to put more people in prison...He questioned why fiscal conservatives would be for Prop 36 because it would force government to spend more money for punishment...In any case, I have not seen Newsom campaigning very hard against Prop 36...I actually have not seen any TV ad for or against Prop 36...

Prop 3. Purely symbolic usual performative liberal crap.

We passed Prop 8 defining marriage as being between a man and a woman. The governor and AG violated their oath of office by refusing to defend it in the Oberkfell case. Justice Kennedy was determined anyway to bring about gay marriage anyway and SCOTUS struck down Prop 8. But it remains on the books, though unenforceable. This is our liberals masters calling on us to thank them for overthrowing our will by striking Prop 8 from the books. The gutless state GOP is neutral on it, though my county party recommends a no vote

What pissed me off the most was the commercials trying to get people to vote yes for 35 to help 15 million people on MediCal. 10 Million or more of that is ILLEGAL ALIENS and since my Wife has a Green Card I began screaming everytime it cam on and she shut it off.

ALL Services for any person that entered the ZCOuntry or remains in the Country without proper Legal Authority should be paid by PUBLIC EMPLOYEES and OFFICERS OF THE COURT Statewide.

Any proposition that involves the increase or creation of a gov’mt agency gets a “NO” without further reading.

If the prop is important let gov’mt fund it with existing funds. If parties within the gov’mt are unwilling to decrease their budget to fund a propr; give both parties some sort of personal weapon and declare: “Last man standing gets it all!!”
Regardless, it is a WIN/WIN .

"Prop 32 : $27 hamburger... $32.50 with a diet Coke"

Gotcha beat already! I was hiking in California's Santa Cruz Mountains a couple days ago and stopped at my once-favorite local restaurant in Pesadero for lunch. Thirty years ago we would take the kids there after a day at the beach or hiking and it was affordable for a family -- just a 100 year old neighborhood favorite restaurant.

Then California COVID insanity hit, California economics hit, and the Internet made it into a trendy tourist destination. The food was just so-so (even their famous artichoke soup) and that was my last time dining there. Ever.

California where you have to take out a loan or mug someone just to put a down payment on a hot lunch.
