I saw a documentary in which it was said that all the albums they recorded used studio musicians, excluding live albums, of course. It said that was the industry standard, which makes sense when you have a bunch of young performers without real musical training.
I believe Peggy said she had hooked up with Paul on a couple of occasions.
If only. Sigh. Maybe next year.
Excellent, timeless album!
I forget the song, but it was a huge hit sung by a studio back up singer on the album. The lead singer did not sound the same in concert.
If I recall a famous band had trouble matching the guitar riff done by a studio musician and left that riff out in concerts. I get bored sometimes and watch rock shows on YouTube. I like the Doctor of Rock. No worries these days everything can be fixed digitally.
