But very early on, it is crucial that he and congress pass election reform for integrity. Single Election Day, no more than 1% mail in ballots (for extenuating circumstances only). ZERO early voting. Maybe Charlie Kirk or Scott Presler for Election Czar.
Good, but not enough. All of our voter registration databases are polluted beyond redemption or repair. The only solution is to wipe them clean and have EVERYBODY who wants to vote go down to the registrar’s office and register in person with valid ID proving citizenship.
Then repeat that after every quadrennial presidential election.
We have far too many jurisdictions where the number of registered voters exceeds the voting age population by a big margin. Then we get far more ballots than registered voters.
ERASE THE ROLLS! Everywhere. Every four years.

You want dead people to come out of the cemeteries and re-register to vote.

Halloween is always a few days before election day and the dead are running all over the place anyway.
They can register or re-register then.
Back in the day when you missed a federal election they automatically removed your name and you had to reregister.
Maybe we can reach across the aisle and come together as one nation and make a compromise....only half the dead people have to re-register.

Wow, I did not know that. May not work today because so many people have multiple registrations and register from businesses, empty lots, vacant buildings, etc. Then they “vote.”
Start by erasing all the rolls for an initial cleanup then use your idea. Then maybe wipe out the rolls every 12 years and start clean.
The “addresses” of homeless people are another big problem.
Democratic machines just make up names, addresses and partee on....

i want only paper ballots and a week of early voting, id required , no mail in ballots except military .

MY PLAN:
The existing rolls need to be archived as is. NO CHANGES. NO access to do any MONKEY BUSINESS. COPY THEM EXACTLY AS THEY CURRENTLY ARE.
KEEP them for at least 10 years....Perhaps longer.

EVERYONE MUST re-register at appropriate locations between Jan 1 & July 1, in the following year.
Local Registrars/clerks to be open all week PLUS on SAT to get everyone re-registered.
NO ONE can be registered thru DMV. NO ONE. ALSO-—THAT practice MUST also be ABANDONED. FOREVER.
ALL MUST provide correct ID-—and NOT your PRIOR driver’s license. BIRTH CERT or similar.
ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
you have 6 months to obtain whatever correct & LEGAL record you need to REGISTER.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

Current methods are NOT working-—and we ALL KNOW IT.
Why any early voting at all? We got along without it for a couple hundred years.
We need to return to “absentee ballots” where you can request one only if you have a necessity and proven need.
We’ve got to toughen everything up. Everything is way too lax in the 21st century. (just the way the Dems want it)
Good plan...the same one I’ve been espousing.
Also, the registrar can provide mobile registration for shut-ins who simply cannot get to the registrar’s office to register. There would need to be TWO people visiting the shut-in (one dem and one republican) so there are no shenanigans.
