Your remarks remind me of a close relative living in Kalifornia. She is a glowbull warming believer that also believes the ocean levels can rise differently at different Kalifornia beaches. In other words the water level can rise at one beach but not the other. It’s what they are told, it’s what they believe and that complete lack of logic is what sunk that once great state.
“It’s what they are told, it’s what they believe and that complete lack of logic is what sunk that once great state.”
Cause and effect is completely foreign to them - things just mysteriously happen. They are incapable of connecting dots.
They can, over brief times.
Which is why the proper measurement of sea level is the Mean Sea Level.
Mean sea level is an average surface level of one or more among Earth's coastal bodies of water from which heights such as elevation may be measured.
Differences in Atmospheric Pressure over different beaches will cause sea level to differ on the same body of water by several inches on the same day.
Anybody who is a “climate change” believer and lives near any ocean is off the charts stupid.
