There’s a note pad feature you can use with speakwrite. Touch the little microphone. But the thing gets words wrong a lot so you need to check and edit.

My solution to the problem is to use the program that allows me to see my messages on my PC and edit them there using the PC’s keyboard. Works a lot better than just using the iphone.
