Dragon is good
I have eight phones
Two are droid Samsung
Voice to text is almost perfect and u can download a zillion alternatives unlike proprietary obsessed Apple
“check and edit. That’s the problem with dictation into an iphone. The checking and editing with the small keys can be really difficult. My solution to the problem is to use the program that allows me to see my messages on my PC and edit them there using the PC’s keyboard. Works a lot better than just using the iphone.
Yes.
I have been using this daily since I figured out how it works.
Been trying to think of a way to use it to compose FR posts.
“Dragon is good”
I used Dragon when it first came out around 2000. You had to train it with your voice back then by reading many paragraphs to it.
I find the iPhone dictation to be quite accurate with very few mistakes.
I believe you can use the microphone icon in the Notes app on the iPhone.
If you you need are “notes”…it should work OK.
Dragon is what they used at the hospital where I worked. If it can transcribe medical stuff…it should work well for ‘normal’ transcriptions. There was some ‘training’ involved for accents and vocabulary.
Yes. I own a copy. My cardiologist uses it also.
You speak their dialect
I think Cupertino does this on purpose
I mean Siri has Aussie but can’t do southern on dictation
I also notice some days are better
I drive 200 a day
It would help
My next phone is back to around after 12 years
But my life is on my cloud so I’ll keep all on my iPad I guess
