Elon Musk expressed outrage on his social media platform X Saturday over news that rescue pet and internet sensation Peanut the Squirrel was seized from his owner’s home and euthanized by state officials in New York.

The SpaceX and Tesla founder fired off a barrage of posts expressing his disdain for officials with the New York Department of Environmental Conservation taking the Instagram-famous Peanut, along with another rescue animal, away from owner Mark Longo’s home and animal sanctuary near the Pennsylvania border. The state then inexplicable euthanized the docile and trained animals so they could be “tested for rabies.”

They are typical law enforcement. “Bow down peasant and be thankful we don’t feel like killing you today”. When you can do virtually anything without any consequences (qualified immunity anyone?) then you select for people with sociopathic tendencies and you encourage those tendencies every time they get away with that stuff. The two worst domestic policies with law enforcement are qualified immunity and civil asset forfeiture. Do away with those and sooner or later the police would go back to their role of protecting communities rather than preying on them.

The police are not your friends

It's A-OK to own a Pit Bull that is fully capable of eating people, but pet squirrels will not be tolerated and will be executed. If you own a pet rodent prepare for armed commando raids, helicopters, tear gas, news reporters and then be subsequently destroyed by government lawyers in their courts.

Warning! Even rodent paraphernalia will be seized, such as those little hamster exercise wheels.

They didn’t need to test the animal for rabies. The couple he lived witth were fine and the squirrel never went out. Squirrels aren’t big vectors for rabies.

This was done out of pure meaness by some dumbarse woman on a power trip.

Dems own this and I hope Peanut’s fate helps to take them all down. They deserve to be destroyed by a squirrel.

The squirrel was an indoor pet for 7 years, and had no exposure to any animals that could have infected it with rabies.

The whole thing started with an anonymous tip avout the animals having rabies, but as explained in this video there has never been a case of squirrels transmitting rabies to humans:

The raccoon didn’t bite anyone so why was he killed?

The more likely explanation is government thugs raiding the home and killing the animal just because they could.

Gotta show the little people who’s in charge.

Squirrels don’t carry rabies.

Squirrels rarely carry rabies.

Fixed it for you.

I have heard that the only rodent that carries rabies is woodchucks. Rats certainly don’t.

bogus. anytime an animal bites it gets QUARANTINED for 10 days to watch for symptoms. It does NOT get killed.

The guy to whom you're responding is a silly, dimwitted f*ck who doesn't care about facts. You're wasting your breath.

The police are not your friends

It has never been the case that any governmental agent exercising police powers has been the friend of the average American. But good luck getting the average BoomerCon to understand that simple reality. They live in a fantasy world of their own, an America that no longer exists.

Honestly, this question crossed my mind: did Peanut’s owner ever express support for Trump on his Instagram page?

One of my favorites-this guy got what he deserved:

I don't have the whole video anymore that I pulled this out of, but this guy was being deliberately cruel to the animal. He was obviously an amateur. but he was yanking the thing around and grinning.

Very true. Many of boomers are as you describe and about half of the subsequent generation live in various fantasy universes where the laws of thermodynamics and economics don’t apply.

No entity is too small for the NY demon infested government to go after. If Jesus were around, NY would be the one crucifying him and Gov Hokum would be washing her hands.
