Generally speaking, the constitution’s first amendment allows you to wear whatever you want while you vote, including maga stuff, but after you vote, you have to leave the immediate voting area. So the order to remove the maga stuff is likely illegal.

AKAIK - it’s never been legal to wear political hats, clothing etc. at a polling location.

AKAIK - it’s never been legal to wear political hats, clothing etc. at a polling location. In Texas, you’re not supposed to wear any campaign items within 100 ft. of the polling place.
