Covidiots, creationists, and transgenderists are good examples of such frauds.
No creationist has ever demanded that you fund their beliefs or their scientists, no creationist has ever demanded that you let them have your children, and no creationist has ever tried to shut down an opponent in any debate through the use of bullhorns and paid actors.
Just because you personally don't like the idea, doesn't mean you should lump them in with those others.
There is some actual good research being done by creationists, but I doubt you will ever review that research until you actually meet the creator.

You’re now moving the goalposts.
We’re not talking about funding. We’re talking about whether a particular activity is science, or a fraud masquerading as science.
My observation of “origins” science is, so far, that both “creationists” and “evolutionists” are both doing science so badly that their activities border on fraud and sometimes cross the line.
