I’ve never been a car guy in terms of having a fancy or fast car, so long as it’s dependable, I’m fine.

I get the feeling that Stellantis aka Dodge/Chrysler is nearing a point where they don’t exist anymore.

For me, Dodge ceased to exist in 1977.
They took the Plymouth Duster with the 225 slant 6 engine in it -
one of the most reliable motors Chrysler ever made (could easily get 1 million miles
on one…) renamed the 2 door Duster the ‘Dodge Aspen’, switched it
over to run on unleaded gas (instead of leaded) and transformed one
of Detroit’s most reliable running cars EVER into an absolute price of crud / junk / trash.
Chrysler’s engineers just couldn’t hack getting the thing to run right on unleaded gas.
It would hesitate, sputter, stall…. it was an abject failure as a motor vehicle.
I considered Chrysler DEAD after that.

I have not bought another Mopar product since.
