These soldiers may view their Russian tour with pride and as a chance to make good money, see a foreign country and win preferred treatment for their families back home.

“None would think they are going to Russia to die,” Choi said. “But I think they're cannon fodder because they will be sent to the most dangerous sites and will surely be killed.”

Russia’s fairly open capitalist economy would be a utopia for North Koreans who would be stunned at how well Russians live vs North Koreans.

The Koreans sent special forces to learn the Russian Art of war and to get a taste of combat. Most may well be used to operate Korean rockets and weapons they know about. They will use them in places where they can support Russian Troops, not lead the charge. The Russian art of war—use lots and lots of cannons. At this phase, against a worn out Ukrainian army there will be little real fighting left, now its all about how much land they can take before the ceasefire. RT (Russian Propaganda) shows civilians coming out of the ruined cities waving Russian flags to greet the oncoming Russian Troops.

“ARRIVING at the beginning of winter in a country that has harsh winters & has a reputation for not being able to properly clothe & house & FEED & ARM their troops-—DOESN’T SEEM TOO SMART to me...”

We’ve already had a good laugh about this on an older thread. Korean winters are brutal. Ukraine’s winter won’t bother them.

” It’s the potential defectors we can lure.”

Don’t count on getting many. The Norks won’t let anyone that they don’t have leverage over leave NK. “If you desert, we shoot your wife.”

Photoshop their heads to a dead Nork’s body. They’ll be considered casualties.
