This is a clip from Dr. Jordan B. Peterson's recent podcast release, where he gives a psychological breakdown of Donald Trump. In this clip, he analyzes the coalition of supporters around the former (and potentially future) president - they being Elon Musk, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, Vivek Ramaswamy, and JD Vance.
nicely done...

I have the interest, but not the time, to listen to this.
Can you please furnish a Cliff’s Notes version of Dr. Peterson’s conclusions about Trump’s X-men? Thanks.
Listen when you have time. This is such a detailed analysis hard to do a cliff notes.
I love the work of Jordan Peterson, and I greatly admire him as a person.
His intellect is superb. His ability to think on his feet is unmatched. His courage in directly confronting those who wish to destroy freedom, both in his country, and personally, is profound. And his feelings of compassion for his common man are evident in his reading of his book 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos
His voice that cracks as he reads shows that he really does care, and that he left those segments in his book is telling, not because he wanted to sell more books, but because the segments where he was clearly emotional dealt with real-life, difficult and often tragic situations.
So, yes...I am a totally biased observer of his. And I am not ashamed to admit it.
I found that in my assessment of these "X-Men" of the Trump team, I largely agreed with the assessment of Jordan Peterson.
I make no secret of the fact that I viewed RFK Jr. as someone I wanted NOWHERE near Trump's campaign, due primarily to his execrable views on climate change. But over time, even before he fully came onboard, I recognized his value would be to involve him in an area of government for which his outspoken proclivities would be most valuable: Healthcare. I can fully accept that Trump and his team understand this concept all too well, and Trump even verbalized it during his Madison Square Garden rally, in which he jokingly said he didn't think he would allow RFK Jr. anywhere near the climate change or environmental spheres of influence, and with that, I can accept his presence.
If RFK Jr. oversaw the CDC, the FDA, and all the other letter agencies that deal with human health, is there any chance-ANY POSSIBILITY-that RFK Jr. would NOT attack those agencies like a mongoose attacking a cobra? I don't think there is a snowball's chance in Hell.
As for Musk, I respected him even though I had concluded, rightly or wrongly that he sucks at the government teat in areas like EV's and such, but he is so technologically powerful (SpaceX, Tesla, X, The Boring Company, etc) that his acumen in those things, coupled with his genuine (to me, at least) outrage of violations of our 1st Amendment rights, makes me giddy with hope against hope that should Trump win, Musk may have some kind of role.
As of April 2024, my views on Tulsi Gabbard changed 100% when I watched her interview with Tucker Carlson at the end of that month. I regarded her, a vice-chair of the DNC, with utter contempt and dismissed her wholly, viewing her as a snake-in-the-grass, someone we should never allow anywhere near a Republican government.
However, when I watched that interview with Tucker Carlson, I did not see the vice-chair of the DNC angling to find her way into power. I saw the classic portrayal as a Leftist who had been mugged. Mugged by her own party because she dared to venture off the Leftist Reservation. Leftists, like Muslims, reserve a special circle of Hell for Apostates, and Tulsi Gabbard had turned into an Apostate in the eyes of the Left.
I don't agree with her past stances on abortion and gun control. But like the journey of David Horowitz who made the painful (for him) journey from lawyer of the Black Panther Party in the 1960's, one of the intellectual pillars of the Radical Left, to a hard, hard right, true Conservative, I hold that hope out for Tulsi Gabbard. And I regard that as a good bet.
I was negative-to-neutral on Vivek Ramaswamy. It wasn't that I completely disliked him, I just preferred Trump, so I was annoyed he was in that mix, even though I admired his spunk and outspokenness. Over time, I have come to view him quite positively, because he openly talks in depth about things other candidates often seemed fearful of touching. Ramaswamy had no reservations about simply diving it.
And anyone who has paid any attention to my lengthy posts knows...I think JD Vance may be the future of this party, and thus, of our country when Trump is forced to take off the mantle of the party and depart.
And that is what I find so exciting. If we can somehow get Trump back into office and overpower this corrupt election fraud by the Left, when Trump leaves, who will be there for conservatives? I see Governor DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, and above all, J.D. Vance as bright lights for the future.
We shall see. We shall see.
I agree with Freeper Recovering Ex-hippie. It is 25 minutes long, and WELL worth the time. Well worth it.
And if you like and admire Jordan Peterson as I do, it has even more value.
A large part of it is the entertainment value of Jordan Peterson utilizing his intellect to convey a truth...
And that is a lot of fun to see.
Yet another Canadian, non-U.S.A.-citizen trying to interfere in our election and trying to tell us how to run our country. Why does he not say bad things about his own, communist dictator? Because he knows that he would wind up in prison! He suffers from hypocrititis! Why should I listen to someone with an over-inflated ego?
He forgot Tucker.
I’m pressed for time too, and JP’s opinions ship in way too much verbal packing.
Go to settings and select a playback speed of 1.5 or faster.
Thanks
Peterson trashes Trudeau all the time.
