I’m still looking into it. That’s a lot of equipment to send to a non-commissioned base with issues of PFAS(?) in soil issues. I could, but won’t speculate on possible WH motives. I’ll report back when I have something solid. The only lead right now that I caught in comments is someone referring to a 2025 Navy map of the US and the New Madrid fault line(!!). THAT’s an interesting rabbit hole, but I’ve put my tri-toon away for the winter and there’s not much gas in it, so hopefully there’s no seismic events in the near future...

Note the Foote dam is upstream of Oscoda (51’ tall), hopefully no issues are being planned against that.
