We (FR) learned after 10-07 that Israel has very liberal (leftist) gun control laws.

Civilians would have never been allowed to possess a Class III firearm.

Any firearm they owned would have been required to be locked up at a gun club or armory.

The IDF said the tunnel was just one of several located in southern Lebanon that was being prepped for Hezbollah’s elite Radwan forces to one day invade Israel in an attack similar to the Oct. 7 massacre. Inside the tunnels, Israeli troops found AK-47 rifles, explosives, rocket launchers, sniper rifles and anti-tank guided missiles and launchers.
