Putin has 'regrets' since invading Ukraine, Belarus dictator reveals as he admits North Korean troops are a dangerous escalation and US warns they will be legitimate targets... which could lead to WW3

Vladimir Putin is regretful over the war in Ukraine, according to the latest claim by one of his closest allies, as US defence officials warned North Korean troops will become 'legitimate targets' if they are seen to fight alongside Russian forces.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko delivered a wide-ranging interview with the BBC and state-owned broadcaster BelTA this week in which he was asked whether his Russian counterpart had regrets over launching his so-called 'special military operation' in Ukraine.

'Both sides suffer heavy losses... Does Putin regret it or not? Of course he regrets. He's a living man.'

-snip-

Ukraine's 'I Want to Live' project, a hotline encouraging Russian soldiers to surrender, published a video in Korean on Wednesday calling for North Korean soldiers to give up.

'We call for the soldiers of the Korean People's Army, who were sent to help the Putin regime. You should not die senselessly on someone else's land. There is no need to repeat the fate of hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers who will never return home!' it said.

Are you going to cry when Xi throws Putin under the bus in 3 months after President Trump is back in office?

Add to this that Cuba is an economic basket case and not getting support from Russia China Venezuela that they used to and require.
This sets up a scenario where Trump negotiates normalization of relations and puts in a big beautiful Trump casino and resorts. The proceeds that Cuba receives can rebuild infrastructure there and provide food security until income ramps up. One large nuclear power plant complex located inland away from coasts and in more mountainous elevations could supply ample power to the entire nation. We could manufacture our medications there like we used to in Puerto Rico and be more secure than current offshoring to china.

From the article: “’Both sides suffer heavy losses... Does Putin regret it or not? Of course he regrets. He’s a living man.’”

If FDR had been asked whether Churchill regretted the deaths of British subjects during WWII, he would have answered the same. Or if Churchill had been whether FDR regretted American deaths. Regretting deaths is simply human. It does not mean the leader in question regrets sending them into battle.

This is a big nothingburger.

As for the Norkies they are all apoplectic over, there has been no confirmation of the number nor what they are there for. They could simply be in Russia’s far east for joint training/exercises. Some might be allowed to see a little combat in Kursk — or might not. No evidence so far they are n going into Ukraine.

Last month, Lao soldiers were in Vladivostok for joint military exercises. They went home to Laos afterward — and did not wind up in Ukraine. Might be the same with the Norkies.

This is all silly and hysterical. Typical Brit tabloid sensationalism.

One notes the bottom row of the silly graphic has Trump portrayed in a bad light. Is that your view of Trump, as this election day draws near?

Whois states:

Domain: sott.net
Registrar: CloudFlare, Inc.
Registered On: 2004-02-04
Registrant Contact State: NC
Country; US

SOTT is a function of QFG. One reads:

"Launched on March 26, 2002, SOTT.net is a research project of the non-profit Quantum Future Group (QFG). "

And... "Quantum Future Group's corporate offices were first in California, then moved to Colorado and now, a facility has been set up by the organization in Otto, North Carolina. The new facility combines not only the corporate offices, but a research/living/gathering center as well."

QFG Inc.
295 Scratch Branch Road
Otto, NC 28763

Want to see the headquarters of this non-profit? A 3 bd, 3 bath house in Otto, North Carolina.

295 Scratch Branch Rd, Otto, NC 28763

And their "About:" https://quantumfuturegroup.org/description.html

And as to their Form 990 for the non-profit, shrinking from a high of over $400K in 2012, their revenue last year was $80K.:

Perhaps it is time to add to this thread:

Vote Trump in 2024," at the minimum to topple the corrupt Democrats, and have a chance at withering the corrupt, bloated administrative state.

Indeed, and consistently so.

Most European media and the UK's expressly have been working against Trump.

I seriously doubt that any NK soldiers will be taken prisoner even if they surrender. Sadly, some Russian soldiers from the east look very Asian and they will probably suffer the same fate.

Greek Salad (Traditional Horiatiki Recipe)
This simple Greek salad recipe, or Horiatiki, keeps things traditional. No need to fuss with a dressing, just toss ripe tomatoes, cucumber, green bell pepper, onion, olives with good olive oil and red wine vinegar, top with tangy feta cheese, and you’re all set! Serve as a quick and easy first course or side salad.
Prep Time
15minutes mins
Total Time
15minutes mins
Course: SaladCuisine: GreekDiet: Gluten Free, Vegetarian Servings: 6 people Author: Suzy Karadsheh

Ingredients
1 medium red onion, thinly sliced into half moons
4 medium juicy tomatoes, sliced into bite-sized pieces or wedges
1 English cucumber, partially peeled to make a striped pattern and sliced into half moons
1 green bell pepper, cored and sliced into rings
1 handful pitted Kalamata olives
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
Kosher salt
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1-2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 (7 ounce) block Greek feta cheese in brine, torn into slabs

Instructions
Shock the onion (optional). If you’d like to mellow the onion’s raw taste, fill a small bowl with ice water. Add about 1 teaspoon of red wine vinegar to the water, then add the sliced onion. Set aside to soak for 10 minutes or so.
Combine the veggies. Place the tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, and olives in a large serving dish. Remove the onions from the water and add to the dish with the rest of the vegetables.
Season. Sprinkle the vegetables with 3/4 teaspoon of oregano and a pinch of kosher salt. Add the oil and vinegar (to your liking) then give everything a gentle toss.
Finish and serve. Top the salad with slabs of feta and sprinkle with the remaining 3/4 teaspoon of oregano and enjoy!

Notes
Leftovers? Cover and refrigerate them for up to 2 days.
For a punchier lemon and garlic flavor, try this salad with another classic Greek Salad dressing: Ladolemono.
