Let see. Once early voting started in earnest (I voted today) we have:

• A groping accusation against Trump from 1993
  
  
• Trump praising Hitler
  
  
• Some mysterious Election Changing Accusation hinted at by Mark Halperin
  
  
• A Republican, working hand in hand with the Russian Intelligence to get out things that harm Harris
  
  
• Wait 15 minutes and insert something new here.

Did it suddenly occur to them that a huge people might actually cast their vote before they were able to begin throwing mud against the wall, so they are pulling out all the stops now on these kinds of things?

I don't think they're trying to change votes now. They're putting forth the narrative that Trump is evil and morally corrupt, and anything that happens on or after Election Day *cough* voter fraud *cough* was necessary to save democracy. Or some such excuse.
