Swordfish have a long sharp bill, or rostral bone, pike for a nose that can be dangerous to humans but fatalities are extremely rare.

Not all that rare.
A juvenile swordfish get confused and trapped in our local harbor.
Boat captain jumped it to guide the fish out.
Fish panicked and skewered the guy, killing him.
Honokohau harbor several years ago.
