Civilian Marksmanship program has been selling used government guns for years. They have a nice selection of rifles and government 1911s for sale.

Maybe it’s time for all of the Dems to get guns, so they can launch a crusade to kill everyone who owns a gun or gun part - no, wait...

They should have sold those guns or parts and used the money for the public good.

These guns and their parts should be sold for general use.

“It seems that parts from a number of their retired duty weapons — firearms that were supposed to have been destroyed — have later turned up in “ghost guns.” “

“Parts is parts.

Actually, Parts is gold! is the better phrase.
For those of us looking to build or repair weapons, parts from “chopped up” guns sometimes is the only way to get a needed spring, pin, plate, slide, handle, sight, etc., and if some minor welding or milling can be done, even a chopped up receiver or barrel can be repaired or used. Now, NFA and other firearms laws are still in play, with “receivers” constituting a firearm and having to be sold through an FFL dealer with background check, etc., hence the reason “80%” receivers are sold, as they are not full receivers and don’t have to go through an FFL holder, at least until BATFE gets its way. As I understand it, and speaking for a friend, of course.
