I feel sorry for the coach, though. He was forced to play Watson, no matter what, and he was also forced to say he's not be forced to start him. Plus, he would be eventually fired for doing what they say.
Sad for Watson, but good news for suffering Browns fans.
Watson knows it’s likely the end of his career
I don’t like to hear of players getting hurt but it’s not like the Brown’s were a playoff contender.
This will give him the time to take care of all of the lawsuits.
Stefanski should be fired anyway. Pre-snap penalties, sometimes multiple with “and goal” situations show a team with zero discipline. He sat all his starters all preseason and it shows.
He sits there with a play card shoved in his face while his special teams implode and defense breaks down.
This guy is an offensive coordinator. NOT a head coach.
Oh yeah, and he played Baker Mayfield when he was hurt against Pittsburgh and let Watt beat the hell out of him to make some kind of a point.
Fire Kevin Stefanski, and rip the whole thing back down to the studs.
An Achilles injury? Why were the Bengals allowed to have bows and arrows on the field?
Evidently there is crying in football
Maybe the University of Michigan can pass off Jack Tuttle over to the Browns.
Lord knows it’s high time the 25 year-old, 7th-year senior finally starts working a real job!
(Nah, the NFL isn’t _that_ desperate for QBs....)
Something similar happens to every QB who tries to be his own running back, they always end up crippled.
