The WNBA All-Star game should be the ladies’ best players, vs a random selection of Philadelphia boys JV players.

Another example of that, is in 2006, the Warroad, Minnesota (population under 2,000) boys high school hockey team, beat the U.S. women’s Olympic team. I love women, but male athletes will always be better, and people pay good money to see the best athletes play. I figure the WNBA will never make money.

Caitlin Clark can play though.

Mrs. Chandler and I used to watch the occasional rugby match. It’s really quite entertaining.

I wonder how she would do in the NBA? She's got some chops.

Assuming you're serious, she has a great 3 pt shot. She reminds me of Curry.

“ Just imagine the excitement and revenue bonanza if they can get a star trans player!”

Don’t think Shaq has the legs.

She has incredible court awareness; reminds me of Nash.

I see that too. I think she would have make it far in the playoffs if her teammates would play with her. But as we already know that WNBA is different from NCAA.

WNBA is just weird. That's the best way I can say it.

Business 101...if you have a horrible product, no one will buy it.
The league was a total DEI project to begin with, and it shows.
It’s insufferable to watch, and there’s no likeable characters in the play. Why would anyone attend?

In the NBA, if you beat up a team’s star, the team’s thugs conduct payback.

We're not seeing that in the WNBA because basically you're having someone like Dennis Rodman dating Charles Barkley.

Yeah. It's a bit odd.

The only reason women’s golf and tennis do pretty well is that the women are mostly hot. The WNBA does not have that going for it. It will never turn a profit.

And they have a different sexual orientation.

If they so much as hint about bolting support from the WNBA, the black players in the NBA would go on strike (well, at least the stars, who can afford to do so).

Then I'd tell each player x% of their salary is going to support the wnba.

While I’m sure they might get better deals from bulk flights, off the top of my head from recent research, a 12-18 person charter going 3000 miles is gonna cost up to $100M, assuming it’s one-day there and back, maybe overnight. Easily $150M or more if all the support/admin staff also fly on the same plane, there’s a big jump from 18 to 19+ pax.

Round trip business-class tickets are $5-7M each. Again, probably decently cheaper in bulk and repeat business.

Mere hundreds each if they must travel with the cattle classes... But the horror! The huge manatee!
