YES or NO ....Husband and Wife..
I keep hoping for an Edit Function!
My uncle in his late 70s, a healthy, active man, caught RSV from his great-grandchild during the holidays last year. It literally knocked him down, resulting in a head injury. Thank Heaven he is fine now. The vaccine was not available last fall, so he did not get it. After that terrible experience, he made sure to get it when it did become available.
I’m not a doctor, not giving advice, just sharing experience of my family. Here’s wishing you and your wife good health and happiness, whatever you decide.
Well gamblers are happy to get a better than 50/50 chance of winning (or even lower), but the chance of dying from flu is very very low, over 99% chance of survival for all ages i believe- of course it goes down some if you have preexisting health issues like heart disease, diabetes, etc-
I’m happy with my 99%+ chances of survival without a vaccine
obviously it’s a personal decision, but I for one have never had a flu shot, or any other vaccine since grade school and I am 64, I also have never been sick since I was 9 when I almost died from the Hong Kong Flu. No colds,sniffles,flu’s,... so I think it depends on how healthy you guys are and do you really need a vaccine with a 20% efficacy rate??
Since the Fauci Flu I have ZERO respect for anyone in the Medical Profession, especially the drug companies pushing vaccines.
I don't trust the shots now.I hope you will have a look at these prevention and treatment protocols for flu, Covid and RSV by FLCC. They are downloadable PDFs. I am downloading and printing them.
Prevention:

Treatment:

There are more treatments for other illnesses, and lists of doctors who prescribe meds including Ivermectin here:

Given the current state of affairs... the only reason I will take any drugs or even go see a doctor is for stitches... (my regular, self prescribed ivermectin... notwithstanding...)
My advice don’t take any of those shots. They are all bad. Just go on the Zelenko protocol and you will likely not even get a sniffle. That’s what we do.
Have not been sick since Nov 2022 and that was likely covid which for us was a 3 day head cold and a lingering cough. The in laws who are vaxxed and not on the Zelenko protocol were sick as dogs and the BIL almost died.
Blessings to you and your bride.
The CDC and their recommendations?
Why trust them at all?
I’m 70. I have gotten every vaccine available for years and years. In the last 9 months of 2023 and first 3 months of 2024 I got sick 5 times. Up until them I have never been sick more than twice in a year, usually once a year, and many times not sick at all.
I’m not getting any more shots.
I’m 73. I asked my doc about the RSV shot and she said “over 75.” Other sources say “Over 60” or “Over 60 if you have co-morbidities such as hypertension, COPD, diabetes, etc.”
So I’m thoroughly confused about it. I’ve never met anybody who got that virus.
I got my senior dose flu shot yesterday, but no RSV shot (and no COVID booster).
CDC recommends everyone ages 75 and older get an RSV vaccine.
CDC recommends adults ages 60–74 who are at increased risk of severe RSV disease get an RSV vaccine.
We are hardly ever within half a mile of anyone for days on end. I sometimes go weeks without ever leaving the farm. I’ll take my chances without vaccines for now and continue with my vitamin C, D and zinc.
I don’t trust any of their jabs.
My vote would be to get the RSV vaccine. RSV can be trouble for infants and for the aged. (My grandson almost died from RSV when less than a year old.)
I no longer get the Covid shots, but I do get the flu, RSV, shingles, and pneumonia vaccines. I think that the anti-vax folks cause more harm than good. Most are too young to remember when red measles and polio were a scourge in this country.
My two cents.
I had cabgx3 last year, got dress syndrome from a medication for gout, now have asthma and COPD. I had COVID twice, once before the cabg and once last fall both were pretty mild. I used to do computer support for a couple pediatric clinics and got dog sick every year. Pediatrician recommended the flu shot. I got it and haven’t been sick since. I get one every year. Due to the asthma and COPD I got the rsv and pneumonia shots this year. I’m 73. I fly a lot, stay in hotels and frequent casinos and concert venues. So rather than risk some horrible lung issues I get the shots.
I’m struggling with this one too. My daughter almost died of RSV when they were babies.
I can get really sick from it. I’m 62 now, and worry about it.
I think I’m going to wait a few more years to see how it’s working.
I think it’s an MRNA vaccine which makes me suspicious.
My advice is don’t live in fear.
Start dealing with the realities that we will all pass away.
Get right with God.
The best way to avoid RSV and others is with lifestyle. Good food, age-appropriate exercise, fresh air, clean water, good sleep, stress management.
These all allow the immune system to function at optimal levels. And believe it or not, natural immunity handles most viruses. But when the body is toxic from food chemicals and drugs, poorly fed, out of shape and over stressed, then the virus takes hold as the immune system is weak.
I wanted to get it, but I’m too young. The Moderna is mRNA, so I wanted to steer clear of it. There’s a non-mRNA shot made by another company.
I’d say no, I’m early 70s, mom mid 90s. In my opinion, the vaccine is riskier than RSV.
Big Pharma and Big Government have lost my trust.
Your mileage may vary.
