Sadly, this generation is not only taking it, they are asking for it.

That said, it was awesome when Pete Townshend kicked Abbie Hoffman off the stage at Woodstock.

Nice Hiwatt stacks. No wonder Pete is deaf.

Tight performance.

I was hoping to see them when they came to Boston, but it sold out in about 10 seconds.

According to The Who’s bio, Pete Townshend lost much of his hearing when drummer Keith Moon used an explosive to blowup his drum set and gave no prior warning to his band members. Townshend was standing within a few feet of the bass drum when it blew up.

Nice pic of Twisted Sister!
That’s from back-in-the-day, before Lady Gaga left the band to pursue a solo career.

I can’t listen to the studio version of Tommy because the live versions totally blow it away.

What a way to take the wind out of our sails on a fine Fall afternoon.

That said, it was awesome when Pete Townshend kicked Abbie Hoffman off the stage at Woodstock.

"I did not know that", in my best Johnny Carson voice.   We're tacking in the wind again.

So I looked up Sinclair and found he finally took a dirt nap a few months ago.   One less Commie in the world.

Belated kudos to Pete Townshend for standing his ground.
