I remedied that in adulthood. Nothing but farm raised eggs, bacon, whole fat yogurt, berries, and sometimes raw honeycomb.
Smart lad, good, all-natural is ALWAYS better.
Unfortunately I grew up on cold cereal.
At least you didn't get fluff. Fluff on toast for breakfast, peanut butter and fluff sandwich for lunch.
Mr. mm and I both started eating far better after we got married.
Now I grow much of what we eat, as least when the weather allows it.
I’m learning to pressure can some of it, and we need to make a root cellar in one corner of our basement.

We had eggs and bacon most mornings. Alternating with oatmeal. Fridays were pancake day.
On most Saturday mornings we had Spudnut donuts. Neighborhood boys had the delivery routes, just like a newspaper route. They were in a waxed paper bag. Still warm!

I remember cutting a Bobby Sherman 45 off the back of a Honey Combs cereal box! I was too young to cut straight so I only could listen to it from around the middle.
