WASHINGTON (TNND) — The left-leaning British Labour Party is sending nearly 100 members to U.S. battleground states to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the presidential election.

Sofia Patel, head of operations for the Labour Party, shared the plans via LinkedIn Wednesday. She claimed current and former party staff will target key swing states like North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

“I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina - we will sort your housing,” Patel offered in the post.

Patel also noted she plans to arrive in the U.S. two weeks prior to the election and stay in Washington, D.C., for a few days afterward.

Patel's profile shows she previously spent time in the Hillary Clinton campaign from October to November of 2016. She included the description “travelled to the US to campaign for Clinton in the presidential election.”

Some confusion on the legality, seems perfectly clear to me it SHOULD be illegal.

Also seems to be this is a line in the sand we must challenge, but how?

This would be election interference if they were doing this for a Republican candidate.

Try it in the court of public opinion. Trump campaign can bring it to the attention of the public. If networks refuse to pursue it, make that a public charge of election interference by a foreign government. Get out in front of it and make it another black mark against Harris.

Use the left's own tactics. Mass demonstrations exhorting the Brits to go home! That and boycotts of any establishments harboring the interlopers.

This close to the election that’s about all you can do and your suggestion is a good, importing foreigners to interfere in our election is similar to the Democrats importing foreigners to vote which they have done by the millions

Roger that! Especially if they are sent by their bosses. Maybe even charge them with election interference.

Really!? Election interference at the least... Arrest them, incarcerate them until the election is over, then tell them oops, sorry, then send them back to the UK without their passports.

Follow the money. What is being described would be a direct campaign contribution, of the illegal foreign variety.

YES!

Trump should make it abundantly and repeatedly clear to the Brit government that ANY participation by UK party members on US soil will be considered election interference and will absolutely harm our bilateral relations under a future Trump administration.

Not sure if that’s the same. Farage is an individual (UK yes) who was hired by Fox News.

This thing by the UK Labor Party is an organized effort of collusion between Harris and the UK government to send a small organized army of campaigners to influence or election.

Foreign interference is an election? What the Russians sent people to help the Republicans? Would that be OK?
