The Nevada women's volleyball team will not play its scheduled match against San Jose State, per a report fromOutKick, which quoted a Wolf Pack player confirming the decision. Nevada athletics declined comment Monday morning when contacted by Nevada Sports Net.
Four teams recently forfeited games against SJSU, which is believed to have a transgender player on its roster. The Spartans have not commented on individual members of their roster other than to say all are eligible, per NCAA rules.
Southern Utah, Boise State, Wyoming and Utah State all forfeited matches against San Jose State in the last month, although Nevada athletics said in a statement 11 days ago it would play the Spartans. The match against San Jose State was scheduled for Oct. 26. Nevada is only slated to play the Spartans once this season while playing most league opponents twice in a home-and-home series.

4 or 5 other schools have already forfeited to SAN JOSE.
Given the states where most of the teams are from (3 of 11 are California teams), I'm betting they won't change the rules. What's more likely to happen is some of the women players will transfer out of the league during the offseason, while others won't commit to teams in the conference in the future.
