I despise the Cowboys, and it is a cruel irony that when I won a trip to the Super Bowl, it was to see the Cowboys beat the Steelers (how did Neil O’Donnell make it to a Super Bowl?).

Sometimes teams carry their QB to the championship. Look at QBs who never won it all - Dan Marino being the prime example - as opposed to those who did. Even John Elway never won it all until he had Terrell Davis in the backfield.

O’Donnell was the best player the cowboys had that day. I remember it as I watched it in Dallas at a friends house.

The Cowboys had so much talent - Aikman, Irvin, Smith, Novacek et al - they won that Super Bowl with Barry Switzer as head coach. If Jerry hadn't fired JJ they probably would have won a couple more.

Who'd all thought that Sam Darnold would be an MVP candidate?

Apparently Darnold just needed to get in the right place, and neither New York nor Carolina were right. And don't forget he came into the league very young - 21 I believe.

I mean, Troy Aikman transfers from OU to UCLA to get away from Switzer. So what does Jerry do? He hires Switzer.

Obviously my fault, I started the wrong Texas QB on my fantasy football team, starting Dak Prescott over CJ Stroud.

When you have two good QBs, pick one and ride him as alternating you can possibly miss good days for either. I once had Joe Montana and Jim Kelly - after three weeks I went with Montana exclusively.
