A meteorologist and hurricane specialist has become emotional on TV as he described just how strong the hurricane heading for millions of people in Florida and Mexico has become.
John Morales told NBC 6 in South Florida that Hurricane Milton has become a Category five, with wind speeds almost tripling.
"It has dropped fifty millibars, in ten hours" he said, choking up in the process.
"I apologise, this is just... horrific."
He said he blames global warming and climate change for the increase in extreme weather.

History is full of horrible hurricanes before this global warming narrative became a democrat talking point, such as the Gavelston 1900 storm and Camille in 1969.
At least with today's technology we can warn people and save lives.
>> He said he blames global warming and climate change for the increase in extreme weather.
However did I know that that line was coming??!?
Unless FEMA has been weaponized against certain Americans.
It seems most of the male weathermen these days are gays. I almost expect them to break out and start singing “It’s Raining Men”.
Denver used to be under an ocean. Does anyone think one single solitary thing could have been done by humans to change that ocean disappearing?
Exactly...these people have an agenda and it has nothing to do with MMGW. I don’t doubt his sincerity in the force of this storm, but let’s leave the global warming stuff out of it.

The pain and anguish caused by an an almost imperceptibly slow warming of the planet often causes me to get choked up. /s
It’s revolting to continue to hear ostensible adults spout such fairy tales.
I remember Camille very well. Got married (first time) about two weeks after in Waveland MS. Yeah, it was nasty.
My sister-in-law in the Brandon area says the weather is just beautiful at present. For anyone who has been through a hurricane, you know how this works. It’s likely where the saying, “the lull before the storm” comes from.
Some pansy needs a low T treatment plan.
We’ve been “doing things” about “Climate Change” for 50 years and it just gets “worse”. We must not doing it right.
>> I almost expect them to break out and start singing “It’s Raining Men”.
LOL! Please, no!!
I’m beginning to think it was a mistake to have all of these wet poofters acting as “authoritative voices” in so many areas of endevor.
Hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, sunamies, killing heat, killing cold, the earth is still a dangerous place. Prayers up for all in the path of this weeks tragedy.
Momma Earf don’t like her climate being changed.
Does he not think this has happened countless times over the past millenia, when mankind had no means to measure it?
Yes. Too many of them. Same with male flight attendants.
The current composite track has Milton coming directly over my house. Fortunately I am not right on the coast, but about 50 miles inland from Tampa. I am staying put, but expect power to go out, maybe for days. When Hurricane Ian came pretty close, I had to use my chain saw to clear my driveway of a large oak tree that was uprooted before I could leave my house.
“Denver used to be under an ocean.”
When was that?
